Dear Jarrod Spector,
Nice job in Beautiful. Also, next time you’re considering making fun of another show in your Broadway Cares curtain speech, um, don’t!
"Well, IF you don’t know what your show is about, THEN don’t make if three hours long.”
A.) No blue-haired tourist who came to your show knows what If/Then is.
B.) Even as a joke it is terribly unprofessional. Most actors in the theatre community are, ya know, supportive of other shows.
C.) You would be lucky if the book to Beautiful had even a fraction of the intelligence that If/Then does.
D.) Your fellow cast member, E. Clayton Cornelious, who walked offstage during your speech is my new hero.
E.) What’s your name, again?
